The skin protectant

DermaShield is a non-greasy formulation, which soon after application provides an invisible "micromesh" layer that bonds to the top layer of skin and will protect against most irritants. It does not wash off, but disappears over time as the dead skin cells to which it is attached slough off. It should not be confused with a traditional barrier cream, which can impair dexterity. It is not a medical product or a substitute for conventional protection such as gloves. It provides additional protection in the event that the primary one fails or none is used.
